Peterson nails it as usual

Temptations of the flesh, as difficult as they are to resist, are at least easy to detect. Temptations of the spirit usually show up disguised as invitations to virtue.

Some of y’all having a hard time sleeping?

This little quote from Peterson reminds me of what Jesus says in the SOM in Matthew 6:22-23:

“Your eye is a lamp for your body. A pure eye lets sunshine into your soul. But an evil eye shuts out the light and plunges you into darkness. If the light you think you have is really darkness, how deep that darkness will be!” NLT

The SOM is about the Kingdom heart. For Jesus having the right heart is right up there with having the right actions.
