Post Sermon Afterglow…

Actually, here is a small quote that I forgot to share tonight when working through Luke 6:37-42. It is attributed to Philo, a Hellenistic Jew from Alexandria, made famous for his work in philosophy and mathematics. He lived roughly the same time of Jesus. Early 1st Century.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle.

in heaven we will likely share space with people we wouldn’t have touched on earth.

hmmm…maybe in experiencing the fullness of God’s true perfection , we’ll all finally recognize the intensity of life in a fallen world.

still, i’ll keep praying, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done….”

Ain’t it the truth, ain’t it the truth!
